Jenni Franz, MA,CCC,SLP

Jenni Franz is a Licensed Speech/Language Pathologist and Reading Remediation Specialist.  She holds both a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology/Communicative Disorders.  Jenni Franz is certified by the Florida Department of Education in Speech/Language Pathology, Reading, Special Education Preschool to 12th grade, General Education K-12, and English to Speakers of Other Languages.  She has been trained in the LIPS program (Lindamood Bell).  She holds her CCC's with American Speech Language Hearing Association.

Jenni Franz has worked with children and adolescents in educational and private practice settings.  She was a Self-Contained Language teacher/Speech Pathologist at Brookshire Elementary in Orange County Public Schools, providing academic and language instruction to students with language based learning disabilities.  She has also worked as a school based itinerant Speech/Language Therapist and as a mentor and supervisor to Graduate and Undergraduate students seeking a degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communicative Disorders and in Exceptional Student Education.  Jenni Franz has extensive experience working with children with Receptive/Expressive Language Disorders, Pragmatic/Social skill deficits, Learning Disabilities, Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Asperger's Syndrome.

  • In 2000 Jenni Franz received the Orange County Public School's COMPACT Mentor of the Year for mentoring drop out prevention teenagers at University High School.
  • In 2003 Jenni Franz was awarded Orange County Public School's Speech Language Pathologist of the Year Rookie / New Member.
  • In 2006 Jenni Franz was nominated by her colleagues as Teacher of the Year at Brookshire Elementary.
  • In 2008 Jenni Franz was awarded the General Education Teacher of the Year for the Council for Exceptional Children.
